What Is the FXTT MT5 Forex Scanner for MT5?

The FXTT MT5 Forex Scanner reads each symbol from your Market Watch (or a user-defined custom list) and calculates a full set of technical indicator values in real time. Results are rendered as a structured on-chart table that auto-refreshes at a configurable interval. The scanner runs entirely within a single chart window — no separate charts needed per pair.

Each row represents one currency pair. Each column shows a specific metric, from raw price data to multi-indicator readings. Color highlights make it immediately clear which pairs are at extremes, which have trending momentum, and where price sits relative to key moving average and pivot levels.

Scanner Dashboard Columns

All columns are individually toggleable so you can build a layout that matches your trading strategy:

• Price – Live bid price for each symbol.
• Spread – Current spread in points for instant trading cost comparison.
• Swap – Long and short swap values with a color-coded direction indicator.
• ATR % – Current ATR as a percentage of its rolling average — instantly see whether volatility is elevated or compressed.
• Volume % – Current volume as a percentage of its rolling average — highlights unusual volume spikes or quiet sessions.
• RSI – RSI value, color-coded green when oversold and red when overbought based on your configurable threshold levels.
• Stochastic – Stochastic %K value, color-coded by overbought/oversold thresholds.
• ADX – ADX value with +DI/−DI direction — see both trend strength and direction in one cell.
• Pivots – Today's pivot level. Hover the cell to see all support/resistance levels plus pip distance from current price for each level.
• MA – Whether price is above or below the moving average, and the pip distance from price to the MA line.
• MA Cross – Current fast/slow MA crossover state: bullish cross, bearish cross, or near-cross detection based on ATR proximity.

• Scan all Market Watch pairs at once. Reads your entire Market Watch list automatically. Switch to Custom List mode for a restricted, hand-picked symbol set.
• 11 data columns per pair. Price, Spread, Swap, ATR %, Volume %, RSI, Stochastic, ADX, Pivots, MA, and MA Cross — all in one dashboard.
• Color-coded signal cells. RSI and Stochastic cells highlight automatically when entering overbought or oversold zones.
• Independent timeframes per indicator. Set separate timeframes for ATR, Volume, RSI, Stochastic, ADX, MA, and MA Cross.
• Configurable overbought/oversold thresholds. Adjust RSI and Stochastic level triggers to match your strategy.
• Auto-refresh timer. Configurable refresh interval (minimum 5 seconds) to balance data freshness with server load.
• Scanner-only chart mode. Hide all chart elements and set a clean black background so only the scanner panel is visible.
• Multi-column layout. Set a maximum rows-per-column limit — when exceeded, the scanner starts a new column automatically.
• Font size scaling. All panel spacing, column widths, and row heights scale automatically with the font size setting.
• Ghost-row cleanup. Rows for symbols removed from Market Watch are automatically deleted — no stale data left on the panel.
• Alerts with push notifications. Fire MT5 alerts and push notifications on RSI extremes, Stochastic extremes, and MA crossovers.
• Per-symbol alert cooldown. Configurable cooldown period (in hours) prevents repeated alerts for the same condition on the same pair.
• Chart restoration on removal. When you remove the indicator, original chart colors, mode, and appearance are fully restored.

Alert System

The built-in alert engine monitors all scanned symbols continuously and fires when any of these conditions are detected:

• RSI Overbought/Oversold – Alert fires when RSI crosses above the upper level or below the lower level on the configured timeframe.
• Stochastic Overbought/Oversold – Same logic as RSI alerts, based on your Stochastic thresholds.
• MA Cross – Alert fires when the fast MA crosses the slow MA on any scanned symbol.

Each alert type is independently toggleable. Alerts include the symbol name, the triggered condition, and the current indicator value. Enable Push Notifications to receive alerts directly in your MetaTrader 5 mobile app.

• Fast MA / Slow MA settings – Independent timeframes, periods, methods, and applied price for the MA Cross columns.
• MA Cross ATR Period – ATR period used to detect near-cross proximity.
• Alert settings – Enable/disable RSI, Stochastic, MA Cross alerts. Toggle push notifications. Set cooldown hours.
